Platform Terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of BetonX as a housing decision framework platform for professional, organizational, and institutional users. They are intended to clarify operational responsibilities, acceptable use, and the limits of platform-delivered outputs.

Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using BetonX, users and subscribing organizations agree to use the platform in accordance with these terms, any applicable customer or procurement agreement, and all relevant laws and professional obligations. Where a separate commercial agreement exists between BetonX and a customer organization, that agreement may supplement or prevail over these general terms for the relevant deployment.

  • BetonX is intended for professional and institutional use, including housing providers, project teams, public-sector stakeholders, and enterprise decision-makers.
  • Access may be restricted to invited, authorized, or organization-scoped users depending on the relevant deployment and onboarding path.
  • Use of the platform is subject to compliance with organizational permissions, role assignments, and any customer-specific usage policies.

Accounts, access, and organizational responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that only authorized users access their organizational workspace and that account credentials or identity-provider access are managed appropriately. BetonX enforces platform-level authentication and role-based access, but each customer remains responsible for the appropriateness of its own internal access decisions and organizational governance.

User accounts

Users must provide accurate professional account information and protect their credentials. Shared accounts or unauthorized access are not permitted.

Organization administration

Customer administrators are responsible for inviting, removing, and reviewing users within their organizational scope and for ensuring roles remain appropriate to the work being performed.

Single sign-on and identity

Where SSO is enabled, the customer remains responsible for identity-provider governance, account lifecycle management, and related access policies outside the BetonX platform boundary.

Session security

BetonX may suspend, revoke, or require re-authentication of sessions where security controls, expiry policies, or platform integrity protections require it.

Permitted and restricted use

BetonX may be used to model, compare, and communicate housing delivery scenarios and related institutional decision support workflows. Users must not use the platform in any way that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or intended to compromise platform availability, confidentiality, or integrity.

  • Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with other organizations, or extract data beyond the permissions granted to your role.
  • Do not upload or submit information that you are not permitted to process, disclose, or use within the relevant customer or project context.
  • Do not use the platform to generate misleading regulatory, engineering, procurement, or compliance representations without proper review by qualified personnel.
  • Do not reverse engineer, probe, or misuse the platform in a way that could impair service availability or undermine customer trust.

Analysis outputs and decision responsibility

BetonX provides structured analysis, comparative scoring, generated reports, and related platform outputs to support professional decision-making. Those outputs are informational tools and must be reviewed within the customer’s own governance, procurement, engineering, planning, legal, and policy processes before being relied upon in final decisions or public representations.

  • Platform outputs do not replace professional judgment, engineering review, legal review, or regulatory approval processes.
  • Customers remain responsible for validating assumptions, source inputs, and operational conclusions before acting on analysis outputs.
  • Generated reports and recommendations should be interpreted within the context of project-specific constraints, organizational requirements, and evolving market or regulatory conditions.

Customer data and confidentiality

Customers retain responsibility for the data they submit to BetonX and for ensuring that such data may be lawfully processed within the platform. BetonX treats customer and user data as confidential platform information subject to the applicable privacy, security, and access controls described in related trust documentation.

  • Customers should not upload restricted or sensitive information unless authorized under their own governance and contractual arrangements with BetonX.
  • BetonX may process customer data to deliver the service, maintain security, support operations, and satisfy legal or contractual obligations.
  • Data handling, retention, and protection practices are described further in the BetonX Privacy and Security pages.

Service availability, changes, and termination

BetonX may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue platform features as needed for reliability, security, product development, or contractual reasons. Reasonable efforts should be made to communicate material service impacts through standard support or status channels where appropriate.

  • Availability targets, maintenance windows, and customer commitments may be further defined in separate commercial or support agreements.
  • BetonX may suspend access where necessary to address security incidents, legal obligations, misuse, or material violations of these terms.
  • Customers may stop using the platform in accordance with their governing agreement, subject to any retention, billing, or transition obligations that apply.

Limitations and contact

BetonX is provided as an enterprise software platform designed to support analysis and institutional workflow management. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any governing agreement, liability and warranty positions should be interpreted in connection with the commercial agreement under which the service is provided. Questions regarding these terms, trust materials, or deployment obligations can be directed to the BetonX team through standard support and commercial channels.
